Small Groups Joining a small group may be the most important thing you ever do at Traceway. Small groups are where you can develop lasting friendships, go deeper in your faith and receive support in times of need. At Traceway, our small groups are gatherings of approximately 6-12 people who meet together regularly for fellowship, Bible study and prayer. You do not have to be a church member to participate with one of the groups. Small groups were created in order to connect people to one another and help them experience a personal community of faith. Being a part of a small group moves you beyond being a face in the crowd and helps you to develop meaningful, lasting relationships. Each group at Traceway is a little bit different, but typically, a group will meet once a week and the group will stay together for one to two years. They meet for fellowship, group-relevant bible study and prayer. But those weekly meetings are only part of the small group life. Small groups are most effective when you make other group members a priority. That means cultivating a willingness to care for one another and to enjoy fellowship outside of group meeting times. After one or two years of meeting together, we encourage all groups to multiply. That means breaking off and forming new groups with people who are new to Traceway. This fresh start allows you to encounter and encourage more people as you experience life together.
