Keni Bounds - Children's
Minister

Journey:: I was born in Monroe,
LA. All through my younger
years my family and I moved
to a different city every couple
of years...when I was fourteen,
my family planted roots in
Brandon, MS. Each move we
made, I am convinced, prepared me for ministry. I
am able to connect with a variety of people almost
instantly. While in college I met Travis. We
married soon after and since then have welcomed
four (mostly) sweet boys to our household.

Aspirations:: I want to share the life changing
message of Jesus with as many people as God
sends me! I want to do this not only with words,
but by the way I live my day to day life. I want to
accept the challenge before me to shape my sons'
lives so that others might meet Jesus through
them. I want to be a devoted, non-nagging (that
part is hard!) and supportive wife to my husband.

Leisure:: Being with Travis and the boys, theatre,
camping, reading and writing.

                   Worship/Small Groups

                   Journey:: I was born in
                   Jackson, MS and graduated
                   from Northwest Rankin High
                   School in Brandon. I
                   continued my education at
                   the University of Southern
Mississippi and wrapped up my BS in
Communications at William Carey University. I
also put in some time at New Orleans Baptist
Theological Seminary. During those college
years is when I married my beautiful wife, Keni,
and we now have four boys together! We've
served in churches throughout Mississippi and
Louisiana.

Aspirations:: I strive to be Christ-like as best I
can. I am a firm believer in "The Golden Rule"
and always try to apply it to situations in my life. I
beg God to make me the father and husband my
boys and wife need. I simply want to be a part of
where God is at work.

Leisure:: Southern Miss athletics!!!!, camping,
golf, spending time with the family.

                   Journey :: I was born in
                   Jackson, MS and have had
                   the joy of spending several
                   months to several years in
                   some very culturally distinct
                   places – New Orleans, LA,
                   San Francisco, CA, Loveland, CO
and Toomsuba, MS. Each of these places has
helped shape me in one way or another. While in
Hattiesburg, MS, I received a BA in English from
the University of Southern Mississippi and then in
San Franciso, I received an MDiv from Golden
Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.

Aspirations :: I desire to be a passionate follower
of Jesus while staying in touch with reality.
Second, I desire to be a loving, devoted husband
and father who never - or [more honestly] - who
rarely forgets his priorities.

Leisure :: Saints football, Southern Miss athletics,
family outings, trail riding or hiking, golf, reading,
being with family and friends…
